ANMAKUD (Ankara Motorcycle Search and Rescue Association) is a civil society organization based in Ankara that carries out search and rescue and logistics support activities with volunteer motorcyclists in disaster and emergency situations. Our association works voluntarily for the benefit of the community.
To become a volunteer, simply fill out the form on our "Volunteer" page. After your application is reviewed, we will contact you. Owning a motorcycle is not required; you can also volunteer in search and rescue, logistics, communications, and administrative roles.
Yes. Owning a motorcycle is not required. You can contribute as a volunteer in many areas such as disaster logistics, communications (including amateur radio), field organization, social media, training, and administrative tasks. You can indicate your areas of interest in the application form.

Yes. Our association aims to act in coordination with AFAD and relevant official institutions in disaster and emergency situations. Our volunteers are prepared through training and can provide field support within the framework of requests and protocols.
A repeater is a station that amplifies and extends radio signals in amateur radio communication. During disasters, when communications are disrupted, field teams can communicate with each other and with the center thanks to repeaters. Recent earthquakes according to Kandilli and AFAD data are listed on the "Earthquakes" page of our website. You can also opt in to push notifications to be informed immediately about earthquakes above a certain magnitude.
