FIRE TRAINING FOR VOLUNTEER MOTORCYCLISTS FROM ANKARA FIRE DEPARTMENT

     Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department continues to raise citizens' awareness about natural disasters, floods and fires. Members of Motorcycle Association and Ankara Motorcycle Search and Rescue Association (ANMAKUD) are responsible for forest firesreceived fire training from Ankara Fire Department to fight voluntarily.

   The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, which supports the ongoing fires all over Turkey, continues to raise citizens' awareness about fire fighting.

  In addition, their training for their own staffmetropolitan Municipality provides fire training to volunteers in line with the requests. In this context, members of the Motorcycle Association and Ankara Motorcycle Search and Rescue Association (ANMAKUD) received fire training from the Ankara Fire Department in order to voluntarily fight forest fires.

ACCELERATED FIRST RESPONSE TRAINING AGAINST FIRES

  Members of the Motorcycle Association and ANMAKUD applied to the Ankara Fire Department for fire training after voluntarily requesting the General Directorate of Forestry to protect the forests in Ankara against the risk of arson and fire.

     It is both practical and practical for volunteer motorcyclists to first respond to firesstating that they provide training support, Ankara Fire Brigade Training Branch Manager Musa Ödemiş shared the following information:

“Motorcycle Association and ANMAKUD jointly conducted a study and reported to the General Directorate of Forestry that they volunteered to protect our forests. They also requested a fire-related training from the Ankara Fire Department. In line with this request, wewe gave them an accelerated training on the first response to the fire. ”

MOTORCYCLISTS ARE ALSO READY TO PROTECT THE FORESTS

     The members of the association thanked the Ankara Fire Brigade for the training they received with the following words:

-Sinan Çetin (Vice President of Motorcycle Association): “We started a process together with ANMAKUD. GeneralWe applied to the Directorate and requested training from Ankara Fire Brigade to be equipped against fires in the region we visited. The Ankara Fire Department did not hurt us and provided accelerated training support. We wanted to protect the forests in Ankara. In the training here, we learned what fire is, what it is to burn. We learned what we can do in the face of fire. Both theoretical and practicalwe received trainings. We saw that we were missing and we completed it. Therefore, we would like to thank the Ankara Fire Department. "

-Ferhat Durmuş (ANMAKUD Spokesperson): “When the fires start, it is not possible to extinguish them. We wanted to start guarding against suspicion of arson. As ANMAKUD, we organize all over Turkey and keep watch for our forestswe started to hold it. There were 4-5 regions that we saved. Right now, we have friends standing guard almost everywhere in Turkey, helping to respond to fires. ”

-Cengiz Çokal (ANMAKUD Board Member): “We wanted to start a different project. We wanted to raise awareness. The purpose of our association was to help our citizens in natural disasters, floods and fires.As soon as our association was established, we encountered fire disasters. Some of our friends worked in fire zones. At this point, we saw our shortcomings. We applied to the Ankara Fire Department and received the necessary first response training. We are ready to work for our forests in line with the permissions given to us. ”

-SeldaTaşkobel (ANMAKUD Board Member): “Our Associationfire disaster occurred after it was installed. I was in Manavgat when the fire broke out. I was poisoned by smoke during the relief work there. At this point, when we saw that we had deficiencies, we applied to the Ankara Fire Department for training. Thanks to the training here, we have completed the points we are missing.
