Toydemir DERVİZA-ANMAKUD

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, as ANMAKUD, we proudly took part in the Derviza/ Harvest Day event held in Polatlı-Toydemir Village in cooperation with the Headquarters of the Crimean Turks Culture and Solidarity Association and the Toydemir Branch of the Crimean Association. The event was organized with the aim of both preserving a cultural heritage and bringing together all segments of society.

Program,It started with the planting of trees in the "Crimean Memorial Forest" area with the participation of all participants. This symbolic event represented our will to invest in the future while maintaining ties with the past.

Then, a silence was held for those who were martyred for the sake of the homeland and those who lost their lives on the migration routes; the National Anthem of Independence and the Crimean Tatar national anthem Ant Factor all togetherwas read.

In his protocol speeches, Toydemir Branch President Vecdi Özgey gave information about the historical history of Toydemir Village and the works carried out. Özgey explained the processes from the establishment of the village to its role in the national struggle and emphasized the importance of cultural unity.

Ukraine in ongoing conversationsEmbassy Undersecretary Denis Zolotaryov expressed the importance of the preservation of Crimean Tatar culture in terms of strengthening historical ties and expressed his support for the preservation of cultural identity.

Later, Mükmin Şahin, Chairman of the Crimean Association, recalled the traditional meaning of Derviza.emphasized the value of keeping the culture alive in the diaspora and stated that the "Crimean Memorial Forest" project was the product of a special effort.

In the cultural program, Crimean Tatar folk dances and rituals were staged; “Ansambli of Ciy” stage performances were highly acclaimed. Toydemir villagers are also traditional Qoraz Telleme and Şıraq Tellemehe shared his rituals with the participants.

During the event, traditional flavors prepared by Qalaqay Crimean Tatar Cuisine were presented. The program ended with a motorcycle show and flag pass organized with our association members and participants.
